We're back to the origional courses and have full use of the Mauao Base Track for all events.

All courses start on Marine Parade until reaching their respective turnaround points further down Marine Parade. Once back near the start finish area courses will turn left onto Adams Ave, left onto The Mall then turnaround at the intersection of The Mall and Grace Avenue. From there it's back along The Mall past the boat ramp and you link up to the Mauao Base Track and finish as per previous years. The Half Marathon course completes two laps. Event finish is outside the Mt Surf Club.

Event timing
• The event will be professionally timed by Active Timing and race results will feature on this website within 24 hours of the last finisher.

2012 Event day timeline (for reference and subject to change)
We recommend being down at the Mount Surf Club AT LEAST 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your event start times (30 minutes before your race briefing).

Event headquarters: Mount Surf Life Saving Club, Mt Main Beach, Marine Parade, Mt Maunganui
0700hrs - On the day registration opens at Mt Maunganui Surf Club
0815hrs - ½ Marathon walk and wheelchair start
0900hrs - ½ Marathon run start

0915hrs - 10km walkers

0945hrs - 10km runners / wheelchair start

1000hrs - 5km walk / run / wheelchair start
1230hrs - official event prizegiving and spot prize giveaway

Prize giving will be held at the Mount Surf Club at 12.30pm or as soon as the last person finishes (whichever comes first). To be eligible for spot prizes your race number must be handed in and you must be present at prize giving.

A variety of fruit will be available at the finish. Hot drinks and baking will be available from the Mt Surf Club for a small cost.
